Important Notice
The files on this server have now been copied from the CONFORM server, and consolidated with the files on engserve.
Read access to this website is global, using the link http://www.astec.ac.uk/emmafiles/. There are two methods of write access depending on your location.
From the STFC network (DL/RAL)
EMMA files are hosted on \\dlfiles03\ASTeC\Projects\EMMA. Read/write access to this has been granted to the whole EMMA team. If you don't have access to this server and you think you should have, please contact Chris Dean and Ben Shepherd.
From anywhere else
Read/write access to EMMA files is via a secure FTP connection to srgen2. To obtain a login for read/write access, please fill in this form, ensuring that the following fields are completed (along with your name, address etc., obviously):
- In Section A:
- Leave Facility blank ('none').
- In Site/Institute/Department, select DL and ASTeC.
- In Section B:
- Tick the I need a UNIX account box.
- In the 'further information' box, type:
"SFTP access to srgen2.dl.ac.uk - sysadmin is Chris Dean."
Tick all the boxes in Section C, submit the form and print it (as per the instructions). Sign the form at the bottom and send it to Ben Shepherd by post or fax.
Alternatively, just email Ben with your name, address and telephone number and I'll sort out the rest.
There are several free SFTP client programs that you can use to access the server, notably FileZilla (Windows/Mac/Linux) and WinSCP (Windows only).
