Success of 1st Vacuum Symposium UK and RGA9 meeting
The 1st Vacuum Symposium UK was held in the Cockcroft Institute Building at Daresbury Laboratory on the 10th and 11th February 2010. The meeting was hailed as a great success by the many representatives from the vacuum community.
More than 130 delegates enjoyed presentations on the many and varied applications of vacuum . The event (co-sponsored by the Institute of Physics’ Vacuum Group, the British Vacuum Council and the Science and Technology Facilities Council) was free to attend thanks to the support of the 26 hi-tech companies showing their wares at the associated trade exhibition.
