Outstanding Scientist of the Year
Adam Griffiths was overall winner out of 131 students with a project entitled “Modelling the ALICE photoinjector electron beam using GPT to enhance base line parameters”. Adam , who has completed the first year of his A levels at St John Plessington’s Catholic College, spent a four week placement with Susan Smith (ASTeC).
Two students also on the Nuffield scheme within the Cockcroft Institute also featured highly on the awards list. Well done!
